Huntington Beach American Legion Post 133
Since its charter in 1919, The American Legion Huntington Beach Post 133 has been welcoming veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining Huntington Beach Post 133 enables you to continue serving country and community.
Post 133 partnered with the City of Huntington Beach to bring Hometown Heroes to our city. Post 133 collaborates with Huntington Beach City Officials by holding ceremonies for Veterans Day, Memorial Day and September 11th. Our post is proud to participate in the Huntington Beach Fourth of July parade. We send boys and girls from high schools to Boys and Girls State. Once a year we provide a free lunch for veterans and a special lunch for WWII veterans. Post 133 adopts needy families to provide a Thanksgiving meals and Christmas meal and gifts. We send packages with items requested to the troops overseas. We provide needed personal items to homeless female veterans. We also, provide Long Beach VA with gas and food gift cards for their Social Workers to give to needy veterans. The Post always marches in the Fourth of July Parade. Recently, the Post partnered with the Huntington Beach Central Library to open a Veterans Resource Center, where veterans can go for assistance.
Be a proud member of Post 133 as we serve our community and fellow veterans.
